Delta Sky Club guests were stunned when a fellow traveler began packing plates of ribs, garlic chicken, and cookies into a plastic shopping bag. 

Another flyer snapped a photo of the culprit’s bag last week, saying he must have been ‘raised by wolves’.

The post claimed the traveler loaded up at least three full plates — plus bananas — before heading out.   

‘Dude has a penchant for St. Louis ribs and garlic chicken, not to mention sides and chocolate chip cookies,’ the flyer wrote in a Reddit post. 

Undoubtedly, this is the individual known for picking out all the shrimp from the alfredo, which ultimately led to the discontinuation of the monthly free bartender’s special that I used to enjoy.

Still, a few commenters admitted they’d witnessed (or even committed) similar ‘acts of savagery.’ 

Some pointed out the member was just getting his money’s worth after a crackdown on lounge access started in February.

One Redditor claimed they’ve seen people turn Delta Sky Clubs’ business privacy booths into makeshift food-packing stations.

‘Fill up a plate, disappear into an isolation booth, and transfer the food into a travel container. Maximizing the Sky Club experience.’

Another user chimed in: ‘I always grab something portable like a muffin and a couple waters, but that’s it. Packing half the buffet is so not cool.’ 

Delta has a small list of policies for its club members and guests besides no food and drink removal.

Travelers under the age of 21 are not allowed to be served alcohol nationwide.

However, the airline noted that local age restrictions apply when it comes to lounges outside the US.

Members are also prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages inside all Sky Clubs.

Any rule breaks could result in mileage deductions or potential membership termination without compensation.

All Delta Sky Club lounges are different from one another regarding food options.

However, travelers can expect to see a variety of soups, salads, and snacks.

Guests can also choose from a line of hot entrees, including chicken-based dishes.

Flyers who aren’t interested in food can select from a wide variety of soft drinks or snag select Starbucks beverages.

Alcoholic drinks are also available to guests of legal age.

Prices vary depending on membership status, but food and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary for qualified members.

In addition to food and drinks, Delta Sky Club members can enjoy benefits like free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and showers at select locations.

At present, there are more than 50 Delta Sky Club establishments across the globe, with a recent addition being the lounge unveiled at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Georgia just last week.

Flyers have multiple options on how to gain access to any of over 50 Delta Sky Clubs worldwide

There are two main types of Delta Sky Club memberships: Executive and Individual.

Executive membership holders are granted access to any lounge and can bring up to two guests per visit.

These flyers would have to pay $1,495.50 a year.

Travelers with individual memberships can bring up to two guests for an additional fee to any Sky Club lounge on each visit.

This offer will only cost flyers $695 a year.

Both of these membership opportunities are available to customers who are Medallion Members of the Delta SkyMiles Program.

Guests can also access a club if they have a qualified American Express card or fly on a same-day Delta One itinerary.

Others tagging along with Sky Club members will be required to pay $50 per visit.
