EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) New Mexico State University has confirmed to KTSM on Saturday, April 12, that three more international students’ visas were revoked, bringing the total number to nine at the university.

As we’ve previously reported, on April 9, the university confirmed that six international students had their visas revoked by the federal government and could face deportation.

NMSU has not released a statement as to why the visas were revoked.

This adds to 12 other confirmed international students in the Borderland whose visas were also revoked: 10 from the University of Texas at El Paso and two from El Paso Community College.
