Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, and Gail King are gearing up for an exclusive all-female space tourism flight that is set to depart on Monday morning in a luxurious historic spacecraft.

The flight, named Blue Origin’s New Shepard 31, is scheduled for liftoff at 9:30 a.m. from the company’s base in west Texas. Joining the three celebrities will be crew members Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn.

Blue Origin’s founder is ex Amazon boss Jeff Bezos — and he’s sending his fiancée Sanchez to space as part of the mission.

This exciting voyage is projected to soar slightly above the Earth’s atmosphere and endure for approximately 11 minutes, marking a significant milestone as the first all-female space expedition since Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova’s groundbreaking solo journey in 1963.

The crew vowed to look their best during the short space flight, with some preparing to make sure their makeup, eyelashes and hairdos survive the intense force needed to leave the Earth, the weightlessness of pace, and the return trip home.

“Space is going to finally be glam,” Perry previously told Elle. “If I could take glam up with me, I would do that. We are going to put the ‘ass’ in astronaut.”

The projected orbit of the mission will see the women soar about 62 miles above the planet, just above the Karman Line, which is internationally recognized as the point where Earth ends and outer space begins.

At about two minutes after liftoff, the New Shepard booster is set to separate from the crew capsule and return in a controlled touchdown at the Blue Origin pad about 2 miles north of the launch site.

The women are set to return 10 to 11 minutes later in a parachute landing in the Texas desert.

All six crewmates arrived at the base on Saturday for the mission prep, which also included a photo-op of the women in form-fitting Blue Origin’s jumpsuits at the rocket bridge site.

Like with previous space tourism missions, Blue Origins designed a special insignia to add to the women’s space suits featuring all their names and a wink to each of their works and ambitions.

Next to Perry’s name is the image of a firework, a reference to her hit 2011 song, with a fly near Sanchez’s name as a nod to her children’s book, “The Fly Who Flew to Space.”

King has a microphone to symbolize her work on CBS News, Nguyen has an icon of the scales of justice for her civil rights advocacy, Flynn has a film reel for her career as a film producer and Bowe has a target star to symbolize her passion for STEM.

Along with taking in the sights, the women have also partnered with various universities and science groups to carry out a few experiments during their trip to space.

The women’s trip will mark the New Shepard‘s 11th human flight.
