Change is in the air, Hearties! The When Calls the Heart Season 12 finale aired back in March. But, thankfully, we haven’t seen the last of Hallmark Channel’s beloved Western drama because the show has already been renewed for a thirteenth season!

“Hearties are far more than a fan base — they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley,” Hallmark Media’s Senior Vice President of Programming Samantha DiPippo said in a statement. “It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor. and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond.”

That’s not the only change in Hope Valley. Joy Gregory will replace Lindsay Sturman as the showrunner for Season 13. Gregory worked as a writer/executive producer for Season 12, while Sturman served as the showrunner for Seasons 10-12.

Nope. Hearts Around the Table: Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient airs from 7:00-9:00 p.m. ET, followed by an episode of The Chicken Sisters (“This is War, Y’all”).

Has When Calls The Heart Been Renewed For Season 13?

You know it! As we mentioned above, Hallmark Channel announced the renewal after the Season 12 finale aired on Sunday, March 23.

When Will When Calls The Heart Return With New Episodes?

No official premiere date has been announced, but the show is expected to return with new episodes in 2026 (per Deadline). Eight of the previous ten seasons have debuted in March or earlier — seven of the eight seasons premiered no later than February 24 — so we expect an early 2026 release date.
