A ring specialist broke down the potential price of Harris Dickinson’s engagement ring for Rose Gray

Harris Dickinson gained attention in 2024 for Babygirl, and he’s back in the limelight for his future role as John Lennon in a Beatles biopic. He met his fiancée, singer-songwriter Rose Gray, during their schooling years and began dating her in 2018. Dickinson and Gray enjoy helping each other professionally, with Dickinson directing two of Gray’s music videos in the past. Now, they’re ready to make their love official by tying the knot.

Neil Dutta, the Managing Director at engagement ring specialists Angelic Diamonds, broke down the style, craftsmanship, and estimated cost of the ring.

“Although we don’t have a close-up, Rose’s engagement ring is clearly a modern classic,” Dutta explained. “It features a round brilliant-cut diamond, one of the most timeless and popular choices, in what looks to be a traditional claw (prong) setting, which allows the diamond to catch the light from all angles.”

“The band is a half-eternity band set with round-cut diamonds, most likely in a shared-prong or channel setting,” the expert continued. “Judging by its scale, the main diamond appears to be around 1.5 to 2 carats — a size that stands out without being over-the-top.”

Dutta noted that Gray’s second ring is “interesting” and trendy because of the mixed metals. “What’s particularly interesting is the second ring — a simple, polished yellow gold band that contrasts with the cooler metals. This mixed-metal look is very on-trend and adds a personal, fashion-forward touch to the overall set.”

So, what’s the estimate for the ring’s worth? “Based on the design, materials, and likely stone quality, I’d estimate the engagement ring to be worth around £25,000 ($30,000), though this could easily rise depending on the diamond’s clarity, cut, and whether it was custom-made by a designer jeweler,” Dutta said.

The couple isn’t planning on ‘rushing down the aisle,’ a source says

Harris Dickinson and Rose Gray have reportedly kept their engagement under wraps. Dickinson got down on one knee for Gray earlier in 2025. However, Gray is just now sporting her ring for all to see on Instagram, prompting fans to get excited about the couple’s upcoming nuptials.

An insider told The Sun that the couple has been together “for years and years,” and everyone around them knew they’d eventually get engaged. “He popped the question a while back and they’re both over the moon,” the source explained.  

“They aren’t planning on rushing down the aisle straight away but it’s exciting for them both,” they continued. “They are each other’s biggest fans, and it’s like they were made for each other.”

Harris Dickinson planned the ultimate birthday for Rose Gray

Harris Dickinson clearly adores Rose Gray, as he threw her the ultimate bash when she turned 28 this past New Year’s Eve. “It was probably my favorite New Year’s/birthday yet,” Gray told Cosmopolitan UK. “My partner just said, ‘Get ready, wear something you can club in, and come downstairs at this time.’”

Dickinson had a three-course meal prepared for Gray before heading over to a friend’s place. Then, after clubbing the night away, Dickinson had a party bus full of her friends. The bus blasted Gray’s newly-released album.

“Harris had sent it to them,” she said. “… We just danced all night.”
