What Happened to Subodh Garg From ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 1?
Subodh still works in the data entry field like he was seen doing in season 1 of the Netflix show. According to his Instagram bio, Subodh is a Major League Baseball fan and loves to travel, with his Instagram handle @traveling_subodh reflecting his love of exploring new places.
What Does Subodh Garg From ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 1 Do for a Living?
As of April 2025, Subodh was working as a part-time data entry and inventory clerk Katella Deli in Los Alamitos, California. According to his LinkedIn profile, he’d been at the job for nearly three years.
Subodh added some new skills to his resume in 2024, adding that he became a prep cook and began helping with restocking duties. He’s also worked as a bakery clerk and supervisor among his various skills.
Subodh listed his career goals as “gaining more work experience in clerical/data entry at the office, taking more classes at Santa Monica College for my office degree and networking with other professionals whom I haven’t talked to them in a while.”
Subodh Garg Is Still Looking for Love
“I am still single and looking for love,” Subodh announced in an April 13, 2025, Instagram video. He added, “If anyone is single, please let me know,” with a friendly wave.
The family members who run his Instagram page wrote in the caption, “Hello friends! It’s been almost three years since we were on Love on the Spectrum, but we still feel the love. If you want to know what Subodh is up to now, stay tuned! And most importantly, shoot over a DM if you or anyone you know is interested in dating this handsome guy.”
Fans got to watch his dating journey on the show and brief romance with Rachel Osterbach, which ultimately fizzled out although they still remain friendly.

Subodh Garg Is About to Graduate From College
His LinkedIn bio said that Subodh was taking classes at Santa Monica College, where he was pursuing an associate’s degree in business. His Instagram bio revealed that he’ll be a “2025 college graduate.”

Showing what an independent life he leads, Subodh shared an Instagram post on April 16, 2025, proudly announcing he filed his own tax return with the help of TurboTax. He was seen smiling at a desk in front of a computer.
‘Love on the Spectrum’ Changed Subodh Garg’s Life
“Today marks the one-year anniversary of the premiere of the show that changed our lives, Love on the Spectrum on @netflix,” the caption of a May 18, 2023, photo read that showed Subodh along with his sister, Aarti Garg, father Sunil Kumar Garg and mother Anju Garg.
“Words cannot encapsulate how incredible the last year has been. Working with the LOTS team was wonderful and a genuine pleasure. One of the highlights was also meeting and becoming friends with our costars from season 1,” they shared.
The post went on to tag the costars Subodh got to know “in person,” including Dani Bowman, Abbey Romeo, David Isaacman and Devin Morrissey, “and virtually,” tagging James B. Jones and Kaelynn Partlow.
Dani, Abbey, David and James went on to be featured on all three seasons of Love on the Spectrum.

“I wish we could individually recognize each voicemail, comment, DM, email, letter, and in-person encounter from fans all around the world, because every single one is so full of love and kindness,” the family post continued. “Just know that we are so grateful to every viewer for loving Subodh and our family.”
They added, “We absolutely cannot wait to see what the next year has in store for us. Stay tuned for some surprises from us too. All we can really say is … thank you, thank you, thank you!”
On the eve of Love on the Spectrum‘s season 3 premiere on April 2, 2025, Subodh’s family shared an Instagram video revealing how important the show is and urged viewers to tune in.
“This show means the world to us and so many others in our community. It’s more than just a show —it’s about love, acceptance, and understanding,” they shared. “Please tune in and support their journey. Your support helps amplify voices from the autism community. Let’s celebrate love in all its forms!”
