The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) predicts warm weather across most of the country on Friday.
There’s even a chance your chocolate may melt, with temperatures reaching over 30C in Brisbane and Darwin this weekend.
But a cold front is expected to move through parts of Australia, with rain and cooler weather likely to cross the south.
There’s also a cyclone tracking towards the Western Australian coast and large swells in the east.
Angus Hines, senior meteorologist at BoM said: “This low pressure system is very powerful, although it’s a long way offshore.”
“This low will not impact our weather directly but will generate some very large, powerful waves for eastern Australia.”

Here’s a full breakdown of what each capital city has in store.

Melbourne

The city will be mostly sunny on Friday, with showers developing on Saturday and continuing throughout the long weekend.

Sydney

Sydney can expect a shower or two and a maximum of 29C on Sunday morning.

Brisbane

Sunshine and warm weather are predicted over the Easter break. It will be partly cloudy with a top of 31C on Monday.
While a sunny and dry Easter is expected for Brisbane, major flooding will continue in south-western Queensland. It’s also affecting parts of South Australia and northern NSW, as some towns remain isolated by flooding.

“Significant flooding is likely to continue for weeks to come, as floodwaters move slowly downstream,” Hines said.
