Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare said two patients are expected to be discharged Friday, three are in “good condition” and one person is in “fair condition.”

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Two of the FSU mass shooting victims are expected to be released Friday and all six victims are expected to survive, Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare said in a Friday morning update.

Two men were killed Thursday, and six people were wounded in the shooting. Florida State University Police Chief Jason Trumbower said the two people killed were not students.

“We can confirm that all individuals who sustained gunshot wounds—including the suspect—are expected to survive,” the Tallahassee Police Department said Friday.

According to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, three victims have improved and are in “good condition.” One remains in “fair” condition. The victims’ names have not been released.

The five were taken to the hospital from the scene with gunshot wounds, officials said. The Tallahassee Police Department said the sixth person was injured running away from the scene.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of support for our emergency, trauma, and nursing teams,” the hospital said in a statement. “We are honored to be the hospital providing care to these patients.”

The accused shooter, identified as 20-year-old Phoenix Ikner, was shot by police. The sheriff’s office said his injuries were not life-threatening.
