BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A rocket launch carrying the first batch of internet satellites for Amazon’s Project Kuiper is now set for the end of April, after being delayed earlier this month.

United Launch Alliance announced Friday that it was planning to launch the Atlas V rocket on Monday, April 28. The two-hour launch window is expected to open at 7 p.m.

The rocket will launch from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Amazon is trying to launch the first batch of satellites for Project Kuiper, which is meant to bring internet access to communities around the world using a constellation of more than 3,200 satellites in Low Earth Orbit, like SpaceX’s Starlink system.

The rocket was supposed to launch on April 9, but the attempt ended in a scrub. ULA cited weather concerns.
