RINCON, Ga. () — Looking for a place to move? Rincon was listed as one of the 10 safest cities in Georgia for 2025, according to SafeWise.

Rincon rose 19 positions from last year, earning a spot as the sixth safest city, SafeWise reported.

Rincon also reportedly saw a decrease in both property crime and violent crime year over year.

Richmond Hill broke into the top 20 safest cities, being ranked number 16. Port Wentworth was listed as number 20 for safest cities in Georgia.

While some Coastal Empire cities made the top 20, SafeWise reported that crime in Georgia leans toward violent crimes over property crimes. Georgia reportedly had the highest level of gun violence experiences in the U.S. and the fifth highest level of violent crime experiences.

The site also reported that Georgians aren’t likely to experience property crimes other than package theft.

SafeWise said they use crime rates as calculated from FBI crime data for their statistics.
