Our Yorkshire Farm stars Amanda and Clive Owen’s return to screens has finally been confirmed after months of fretting from desperate fans.

The show, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, aired its first series last year and followed the Owen family’s life in the Yorkshire Dales.

It saw Shepherdess Amanda and her husband Clive renovate a derelict farmhouse.

The series came to an emotional end in November, but last month the production company confirmed there would be another season, much to the delight of viewers, but the return date was not confirmed at the time.

Now, it has been revealed that the second instalment of the beloved series will launch in just a few days.

Season two of  Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids will hit screens on April 29 at 9pm on Channel 4.

A clip released by Wise Owl Films reveals a sneak peak at the new instalment.

The production company posted to Instagram: ‘The hard work continues…but there’s also plenty of laughs in store, balmy sunny days, a winter wonderland, goats in coats and the return of Tony the Pony as we enjoy Summer to Spring in the new series of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive & Kids – now coming VERY soon. And here’s a taster…’

In another upload they commented: ‘And… breathe! Get ready for a return to Ravenseat, Anty John’s and beautiful Swaledale across the seasons… the new series of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids will be on More4 – watch and stream – from Tuesday 29 April at 9pm.’

The video shows all of the family get stuck into the renovation and lending a hand on the farm.

Amanda says, ‘We have made great strides but we’re a long way from finishing yet.’

She adds: ‘What I want for these children is for them to be able to look back and be able to say, we did that.’

It comes after the return was confirmed last month and a clip from series one was posted on social media with the caption: ‘It’s the last episode of the first series of Our Farm Next Door tomorrow, and the whole family get together to see the progress at Anty John’s.

‘The renovation has come a long way over the past 18 months, but there’s still plenty to do.

‘Luckily you won’t have long to wait to see how the family and their team of builders are getting on, as series 2 is coming soon!’

The show has proved to be a hit with some viewers who were very happy with the news of another series.

Many commented on a Facebook post including one fan who said: ‘Really enjoyed the series – a wonderful family and great to see Amanda and Clive together – can’t wait to see the finished house!’

Another penned: ‘Pleased Clive is involved. Hoping the new series will come to New Zealand.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Cant wait for new series.’

While a fourth said: ‘Can’t wait to see the rest of the renovations. Meanwhile you all take care. Xx’

One commented: ‘Can’t wait hurry up.’

Another chimed in: ‘Cant wait for the second series x x x.’

Someone else said: ‘Loved the programme and can’t wait for the next series.’

Previous series Our Yorkshire Farm was one of the most popular fly-on-the-wall shows on TV.

The show followed life on the remote farm high in the Dales run by Amanda, sheep farmer Clive and their nine children but ended after five years in 2022.

Amanda and Owen split in June 2022 after 22 years of marriage.

However they still work closely together to co-parent and star on their TV shows.
