MSNBC host Jen Psaki has caused a major stir after making a brazen comment on the network’s feelings toward President Donald Trump.

The self-proclaimed journalist sparked a massive wave of controversy after unveiling the insider information on a podcast episode.

Psaki is one of MSNBC’s most treasured talents, as she briefly served as the White House press secretary in Joe Biden’s administration.

In fact, she just got a brand new job hosting a primetime show at 9 pm on Thursdays and Fridays after leading the program Inside with Jen Psaki on Sundays and Mondays.

But despite her good standing, she appeared to have divulged a sensitive bit of information on The Grill Room podcast with host Dylan Byers.

In the episode, she revealed that the network won’t usually report “positive” news about Trump’s administration.

“MSNBC viewers expect we’re going to talk about the opposition, and we’re going to talk about what the opposing party is up to,” she said.

“And we’re also going to talk about Trump, and it’s typically not going to be positive.

“I don’t think anybody watching expects it to be positive, right?

“There’s not like a North Star thing written on a card, and everybody does it slightly differently, but I think that’s fairly the vibe.”

Psaki previously served as the press secretary for President Joe Biden and has been with MSNBC since 2022.

Online, one social media user called Psaki the “laughing stock” of the country for her time serving with Biden.

She told Byers that while she will occasionally have Republicans on her show, she’s never been instructed to cater to a right-leaning audience.

“I have not experienced this like, ‘You have to move to the center, you have to have Republicans on, you have to be more moderate, you can’t say that thing,’” she said.

“What’s unique is that every show kind of has a bit of a North Star, but the vibe is, kind of, under the same umbrella.”

Psaki’s new time slot was announced by the network in February and will begin in two weeks.

The move took over host Alex Wagner’s slot, who will now remain at MSNBC as a senior political analyst.

The change is part of a massive overhaul at the network.

Last November, MSNBC announced that it would split from its parent company, NBC News, to become its own spin-off company, called SpinCo.

Included in the new spin-off company are networks such as CNBC and USA Network.

“When you look at our assets, talented management team and balance sheet strength, we are able to set these businesses up for future growth,” Comcast chairman and CEO Brian Roberts said in a statement.

“SpinCo will be ideally positioned for success and highly attractive to investors, content creators, distributors, and potential partners.”

The major changes also included moving popular host Rachel Maddow’s show from four days a week to one, with her weekly show now airing only on Mondays.

“First of all, there is only one Rachel Maddow,” Psaki told Byers.

“One of the things that she’s talked about internally, and probably publicly, too, we can’t project fear upon the audience.

“People are scared at home, you have to give them some sense of what else is also happening.”
