No, there will be not be a new episode of Dateline: Secrets Uncovered airing on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. In its place, or try out some of the crime-based programming that’s currently in season on the network, like New York Homicide.
Recent cases featured on Dateline: Secrets Uncovered’s Season 14
Season 14 ended with “The Road Trip,” which recounted the shocking murder of a Florida doctor just returning home on her own from a family trip. Dr. Teresa Sievers, a popular holistic doctor with dreams of one day making it big on television, was found bludgeoned to death just inside the kitchen of her home, leading investigators to believe she’d been killed just moments after she walked through the door. But there were few clues to point to her killer—or killers—until a surprising tip came in from someone hundreds of miles away that would take the case in a shocking new direction.
MIchigan father Jimmy Allan insisted that his wife Amy Allan took her own life after an argument in “What Happened in the Basement?” Police arrived to find Amy in the basement with a cord wrapped around her neck, but authorities soon began to question Jimmy’s account after evidence at the scene just didn’t add up. An investigation into the couple’s marriage would reveal hidden secrets, a turbulent past and a possible motive for murder.
In “The Night Kelsie Disappeared,” Colorado 21-year-old Kelsie Schelling was looking forward to starting a new chapter when she mysteriously vanished in February 2013. That same day, Kelsie had gone to a doctor’s appointment, where she saw her unborn daughter for the first time on a sonogram. Kelsie happily recounted the visit to her parents, but after clocking out of work later that night, Kelsie disappeared, sending her agonized parents on a hunt to find the truth.
