During the season 2 tell-all, Sophie claimed that Rob had been selling sexual services to men and said she had screenshots to back up her allegations. Rob denied the claims, saying that a man asked him for that kind of content, but “that doesn’t mean I’ve ever done anything.”
Sophie doubled down on her claims in an Instagram Stories post on April 21, 2025, and denied that she “outed” Rob as gay.
“I don’t ever care to address the show, however people are still supporting an abusive man,” she wrote. “He hides it on TV but even all the girls at the tell-all said how they’ve all seen how bad his anger towards me in real life.”
She added, “People see a pretty outside and ignore his inner character. I left Rob because he was abusive, but I didn’t want to say it on TV.”
Sophie continued, “I didn’t ‘out him being gay,’ I’m literally part of the community myself, I’ve outed him cheating and prostituting — doesn’t matter if it’s the same gender, if your married, that’s not OK,” she further alleged. “People have zero idea what I actually went through and I’m tired of a false narrative put out tbh. I have accepted that people will only believe what they see on TV.”
Sophie noted that she “never said a single lie” about her ex.
“My life without him is very peaceful, being around him is traumatic and I don’t care to speak on it anymore because my life does not revolve around a TV show,” she concluded.
Rob responded to Sophie in an exclusive statement to In Touch, saying, “Sophie will say anything to deflect from taking any responsibility for how our relationship turned out. I made plenty of mistakes, but I’m not homosexual and I don’t hit women. Sophie has been pushing to destroy my character meanwhile I’m just trying to move on.”
He added that there was “no reason” for Sophie to continue speaking out about him because they are “no longer together.”
He also said that Sophie is “most upset that the audience isn’t eating the slander from the palm of her hands like she expects.”
“Every time an episode airs, I have to worry if the audience responded well for her because if not, she will post online to double down and slander me more,” he continued. “ANYTHING to avoid being supportive or admitting she made any mistakes. Sophie will use conflicts we had three plus years ago to justify slandering me today. She never was a ‘wife.’ And I was wrong to expect more from her. At this point I just want to move on from being associated to her.”
