Fetterman urges Trump administration to bomb Iran's nukes: 'Waste that s--t'

Senator John Fetterman has called on the Trump administration to halt all nuclear discussions with Iran and instead take military action by bombing the country’s weapons sites, encouraging the president to take decisive action.

The Democratic official from Pennsylvania argued that further talks would be fruitless, criticizing the administration’s plans for a third meeting with Iranian representatives in an effort to achieve an agreement that dismantles Iran’s nuclear initiatives and prevents potential warfare.

“Waste that s–t,” Fetterman told the Washington Free Beacon on Wednesday.

Fetterman emphasized the need to seize the current opportunity and advocated for a strong stance by advocating for a military strike to eliminate Iran’s nuclear facilities, citing the regime’s long history of regional destabilization as a key reason for the urgent response.

Fetterman brushed off warnings from foreign policy experts who believe a military strike could unleash a regional war — calling the “so-called experts” wrong.

“You know, they’ve been saying for years and years Hezbollah was the ultimate badass that kept Israel in check, and we can’t move on anything beyond that,” he added.

Fetterman pressed that the Iranian proxy group “couldn’t fight for s–t.”

“And Hamas, literally, are just a bunch of tunnel rats with junkie rockets in the back of a Toyota truck. And now the Houthis have been effectively neutered as well. So what’s left? You have Iran, and they have a nuclear facility, and it’s clearly only for weapons.”

Trump, who withdrew the US from a 2015 nuclear pact designed to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons during his first term in 2018, has threatened to attack Iran unless a deal is swiftly reached to eliminate the country’s nuclear enrichment.

Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff is attempting to set up a framework for negotiations with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his delegation through the talks planned for Saturday, one week after Washington and Tehran kicked off their indirect discussions in Oman, which is friendly to both sides.

Both countries reportedly spoke highly of the meeting as they work to reach Trump’s objective peacefully.

“Years ago, I completely understood why Trump withdrew from the Obama deal,” Fetterman said.

“Today, I can’t understand why Trump would negotiate with this diseased regime. The negotiations should be comprised of 30,000-pound bombs and the IDF.”

Israel is also eyeing a more limited attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities that would require less assistance from Washington as Trump officials push for diplomacy.

Fetterman, a vocal supporter of the Jewish state, recently met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who gifted the Democratic lawmaker a silver-plated pager inspired by last year’s attack against Hezbollah terrorists.

Saturday’s negotiations are being held at the Omani ambassador’s house in Rome’s diplomatic quarter.

Fetterman did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
