Speed Darlington threatens to leave club over Burna Boy?s song

Speed Darlington, a controversial singer and internet personality, made headlines recently for causing a commotion at a club. The reason behind his outburst was the DJ playing a song by Burna Boy, which prompted him to threaten leaving the venue.

In a viral clip, Speed Darlington could be heard warning the DJ in Pidgin, “I go go,” making it clear he would exit if the song continued.

The DJ, not wanting to lose the energy in the room, quickly switched up the music.

This hostile reaction was not random but instead rooted in Speed Darlington’s long-standing feud with Burna Boy. The conflict dates back to Burna Boy filing a petition against Speed Darlington, which resulted in his arrest and subsequent detention on two separate occasions.

The tension between them escalated further after Speed Darlington’s boxing match against street-hop artist Portable. It was reported that Burna Boy gave Portable twenty million Naira as a gesture of appreciation for defeating Speed, reigniting the animosity between the two artists.

Clearly, old wounds haven’t healed, and Speed Darlington isn’t letting anything Burna-related slide — not even in the middle of a night out.
