There has been much talk about season 9 of Summer House thanks to its dynamic and fun-loving cast. Of course, at the center of many of the show’s antics this season has been Ciara Miller as she’s not only bumped heads with newbie Lexi Wood but she also made waves with Jesse Solomon. Now, the model is opening up about Carl Radke and discussing her thoughts on the reunion.

As fans saw in the season’s preview and a recent episode, Carl admitted to Ciara that he had a crush on her. This comes after his much-talked-about separation from Lindsay Hubbard. 

Ciara recently sat down for a short chat with US Weekly, where she spoke candidly about this season of Summer House. Naturally, one of the first questions centered around her reaction to Carl’s revelation about having feelings for her that extended beyond friendship. 

She responded by initially joking, “I mean, I love Carl, but I was not expecting that, but I get it.” She continued, “I mean, no, I feel like me and Carl have such a special relationship, and we did have a lot of quality time this summer, and it was so great to get to get to know him in a different light.”

She then referenced her past romances from the show by saying, “Obviously, I’ve had my fair share of house romance, and I am recovering. So I’m on the road to recovery, and I have to like stick through that.”

From there, the host asked about the “messy” situation with Jesse and Lexi and if Ciara ever thought she would be involved with something like that. She said, “Honestly, I’m not involved. I’m literally not involved. I didn’t suck anyone’s toe.”

She added, “But look, our house, I have to admit we do have a very incestuous house. Like, there were summers, I mean people are either running around naked usually, not this summer because Lindsay’s pregnant, but like running around naked. Between Lindsay or Kyle sucking people’s nipples like we all get in the bed with each other it’s we’re a weird group.”

Later, the reunion comes up and the host asks Ciara what she wants cleared up at the reunion. She played coy and said she would “save that one for myself.” Regarding who will be in the hot seat, she said, “Jesse. I’ve been saying this since before they even announced the air date of season 9. Jesse was for sure always going to be in that hot seat.”

They also talked about newbie Imrul Hassan and if Ciara thinks he deserves another season. She said, “Sure, why not?” When asked if he had toned it down with hooking up with random girls, she said, “I think that it’s a weird dynamic for guys coming in especially when they’re trying to form relationships with other girls.”

She continued, “I only kind of semi told him to chill out because he was complaining the previous day that like he didn’t feel like he had any relationships with the girls. So, I’m like, ‘dude, reel it in. If you want quality time with us, spend quality time with us.”

Ciara went on to say that she thinks he’s great. Regarding Paige DeSorbo and how she’s handling the breakup, Ciara revealed, “She is thriving. I really love seeing her in this era, and this chapter is so beautiful. I’m so proud of her.”
