Anthony Edwards put on a show during Game 4 of the Minnesota Timberwolves’ first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers and he says his daughter, Aislynn, was the reason why.

After scoring half of his team’s points in the matchup, the 23-year-old NBA star opened up about what fueled his big night.

“I’ve been dreaming all of my life for these moments,” Edwards told reporters after the game. “My baby was able to come see me play, my ‘Aisy-Pasy’, my little girl. She was able to come see me play today. So, I wanted to make the most of it. I know she won’t remember, but she’s gonna look back on it one day and see she was at the game. So, that’s what really drove me today.”

Following his postgame comments, fans on social media quickly pointed out that Edwards is also the father of three other children with different women. Conversations picked up even more with news of another paternity suit. as news broke of another paternity related legal case.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Alexandria Desroches filed a petition for custody, child support, and a declaration of paternity against Edwards on April 21 in New York. The filing claims Edwards is the biological father of Desroches’ child, who was born in October 2023. It also states that Edwards has admitted to the paternity while providing limited financial support so far. Desroches is seeking childcare expenses, insurance coverage, and reimbursement for both pre and postnatal care.

This is not the first time Edwards has been involved in paternity legal matters. Back in October 2024, he filed a paternity suit against ex girlfriend Ayesha Howard after the birth of their daughter, Aubri Summers.

In the filing, he requested a DNA test from a neutral and licensed laboratory. Edwards also clarified that he was not seeking custody or visitation rights, only financial arrangements.

In March, a DNA test confirmed that Edwards is Aubri’s biological father. Howard was granted temporary sole custody, and Edwards has since requested a hearing in Georgia to determine his ongoing child support obligations.

Aislynn, who was born in March 2024, is Edwards’ daughter with longtime girlfriend Shannon Jackson. The couple, who have been dating since 2020, seem to be going strong despite a few bumps in the road.
