Amy and Brian were enjoying a day at Tennessee Safari Park with her kids, Glenn and Gage — whom she shares with Michael — when she was arrested on drug, child abuse and child endangerment charges on September 2, 2024. Authorities discovered what they believed to be mushrooms and marijuana inside Amy’s vehicle. She was released the following day on a $10,000 bond placed by her brother, Chris Combs.

Three months later, in December 2024, Amy pleaded guilty to simple possession in a plea deal submitted to the Crockett County courthouse in Alamo, Tennessee. She was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to time served, meaning she would not spend time behind bars. Amy was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and attend an alcohol and drug assessment. Additionally, she was barred from having contact with the Tennessee Safari Park.

Amy’s child abuse and child endangerment charges were dismissed.
