Love was in the air on Live with Kelly and Mark on Thursday!

In celebration of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos‘ 29th wedding anniversary, the co-host couple made a grand entrance onto their morning stage dancing to Stevie Wonder‘s “I’ll Be Loving You Always,” which they designated as their song.

Following their heartfelt exchange of happy anniversary wishes, Ripa marveled at the longevity of their relationship, deeming it “wild,” while Consuelos concurred, labeling it “insane.”

“That’s like going to first grade, to high school twice, and then taking college and getting a one-year masters,” he deduced.

Ripa quipped, “If you say so. I don’t know how to do that kind of math. I don’t know how to math in my head like that.”

Consuelos explained, “Because as a kid, from first grade until you graduate high school seems like a lifetime.”

While Ripa echoed her husband’s reasoning, noting that “it is a lifetime,” as Consuelos said that they’ve “done that twice.”

As for “what kind of masters” they’ve earned as a married couple, Consuelos proposed “psychology.”

Ripa teased, “We have our PhD in psychology, for sure.”

After congratulating each other on the milestone, Ripa added, “We did it, and we still have things to talk about. Every day. Yes, we do.”

Consuelos replied, “I like those conversations.”

The atmosphere turned more emotional when Ripa and Consuelos took turns referring to each other as their “best friend,” with Ripa expressing her joy at having tied the knot with him, saying she is “so glad.”

“If we didn’t find each other… who else would we be married to?” she asked. “Oh my gosh, what a mess.”

Consuelos joked, “A list. I’d probably be on marriage… no, I wouldn’t do that more than once. I couldn’t do it more than once.”

However, that answer wasn’t sufficient for Ripa, who jokes that this is her “favorite game to play.”

“Let’s say you didn’t marry me,” she continued.

Consuelos claimed, “I’d probably be single.”

Ripa replied, “You think?”

Consuelos said, “Yes.”

Still uncertain, Ripa reiterated, “All this time?”

After Consuelos once again told Ripa “yes,” she called BS on him.

“Lies,” she quipped. “Lies. The absolute lies that you are witnessing here on our wedding anniversary.”
