JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that occurred on April 21 on Firestone Road near the intersection with 103rd Street.

According to JSO, a 24-year-old man was struck by a black SUV captured on surveillance video, which is pictured here. Investigators are asking anyone who recognizes the vehicle or knows who was driving it to call 904-630-0500.

The hit-and-run left the victim with life-threatening injuries, JSO says. The SUV was last seen turning left onto Harlow Boulevard moments after the crash.

JSO does not believe the vehicle sustained any visible damage.
