A Sydneysider is celebrating after scooping a multi-million jackpot in the Lotto.

The Epping man won $2.4 million in Saturday’s draw and said he now planned to buy his young family’s first home.

“The original plan today was to go to the park and spend time with my wife and daughter. But now I think I need to calm down!”

“At first, I thought I was seeing things, but then I kept checking my ticket.” (The Lott)

“I cannot believe it … every time I play, I just select random numbers,” the winner said.

The Sydneysider held one of the two division one winning entries in Saturday’s Lotto, each winning $2,478,143.82.

The winning numbers in the Saturday Lotto draw 4569 on May 3 were 30, 29, 16, 34, 43 and 27, while the supplementary numbers were 40 and 2.
