Halle Bailey posed with her 14-month-old son, Halo, as she got ready for fashion’s biggest night — the 2025 Met Gala.

For the occasion, the Little Mermaid star stepped out in a custom Coach mini blazer dress that embraced this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

She finished off the look with a beaded net veil and glittery heels.

While Halle took the spotlight at the gala, her ex, rapper DDG, made headlines of his own.

In a  livestream, the 27-year-old rapper claimed he flew into New York hoping to see Halo but was allegedly not allowed to visit while Halle attended the gala. The situation, he said, left him feeling frustrated and it’s not the first time he’s voiced concerns publicly.

Back in March, DDG posted a message on X saying he hadn’t been able to see his son for months. “Been fighting to see my son for months now… shoutout to all the Dads who try their best to be there,” he wrote at the time. “This s— sucks.”

He followed up in a livestream and shared more about his experience. “I really feel like I’m a f—— nanny at this point,” he said. “The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. And I don’t even know the nanny name,” he claimed. “Like, it’s just not fair bro. So I have to come on here and I gotta do this s—.”

Last October, DDG, real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., announced he and Halle after nearly two years together.

In a statement posted to social media, he wrote, “Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.The decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we shared.”

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he added.
