Victoria Beckham is currently living out “her worst nightmare” as the rift with her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham rages on, according to a report.

Posh Spice, aged 51, has found herself in the midst of significant family conflicts that have diverted attention away from David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were noticeably absent from the celebrations for the second time last week.

Consequently, the renowned fashion designer has been experiencing restless nights, particularly as she and the retired football icon have been striving to mend their relationship with Peltz following a rumored fallout in 2022.

“This is Victoria’s worst nightmare. The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights,” a source told The Sun.

“It’s been difficult with Brooklyn since he met Nicola, and there’s no denying that there was a family fall-out over their wedding.”

“But Victoria and David have worked hard to get things back on track, so this is a real blow,” the insider added.

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have noticeably kept their distance from family events in recent weeks.

Brooklyn failed to turn up for any of his father’s birthday festivities, which included star-studded celebrations in both Miami and London.

Although the exact cause of the disagreement remains undisclosed, reports suggest that the primary source of contention may involve Brooklyn’s strained relationship with his younger brother, Romeo, potentially linked to Romeo’s new girlfriend, model Kim Turnbull.

Brooklyn was also notably absent from Victoria’s fashion show in Paris in March, which had Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, all in attendance.

As tensions continued to rumble, the LA-based couple declined an invitation to the 2025 Met Gala, which took place in NYC on Monday.

“Nicola and Brooklyn were never confirmed to attend Met [Gala],” a source told Page Six, adding that they did not go to the high-fashion fete “in hopes they could see David [Beckham] and celebrate his birthday with him that week/ weekend instead.”

The couple had previously attended the annual fashion soiree together in 2022 and 2023. Last year, Brooklyn went to the ball solo, sharing via his Instagram Story that Nicola was “with [her grandmother] Naunni.”

Following the pair’s nuptials in April 2022, it’s been widely reported that there has been tension between Nicola and Brooklyn’s mom.
