Victoria Beckham’s apparent rift with her son, Brooklyn, has become “her worst nightmare,” sources have claimed. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, appeared to have snubbed David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations, sparking reports of a feud within the family. Insiders allege that things have “not been the same” since Brooklyn and Nicola, an actress and filmmaker, got together in 2019.

A source close to the Beckhams revealed that the recent scandal has led to a “wedge growing” between David and Victoria, and their son and his partner. Victoria is said to be feeling the strain of the situation, with one insider stating: “This is Victoria’s worst nightmare. The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights. It’s been difficult with Brooklyn since he met Nicola, and there’s no denying that there was a family fallout over their wedding. But Victoria and David have worked hard to get things back on track, so this is a real blow.”

The insider spoke to The Sun, which reports that Victoria and David made concerted efforts to mend fences with Nicola, 30, following a dispute that came to light before the couple’s wedding in 2022, reports The Mirror.

However, The Mirror exclusively reported last night that Victoria and David, who have been married for nearly 26 years, recently “refused Brooklyn and Nicola peace talks” after the young couple travelled to London “specifically to try to repair the relationship”.

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola were notably absent from David Beckham’s birthday celebration at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, West London. The couple also didn’t join David, Victoria, and the rest of their children—Romeo, Cruz, and Harper—for a day of festivities in France on Friday.

Sources assert the pair had every intention of attending David’s milestone 50th birthday party but recoiled due to discomfort stemming from implications that Nicola was at the root of the family feud.

On the heels of reports suggesting that David and Victoria avoided arranging peace talks with Brooklyn and Nicola, a Mirror insider condemned the parents’ stance: “As parents, it’s shocking that Victoria and David are behaving this way… instead of privately discussing the issue. Victoria and David (appear to) have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone.”

The big night was drawn to a premature close at 3.35am when neighbours complained about noise, prompting council intervention. It’s said the high-spirited Beckham clan and their celebrity guests, including Guy Ritchie, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay, were reportedly told to tone down the noise after the sumptuous dinner escalated into an uproarious party.
