WASHINGTON COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — A Bristol, Tennessee man turned himself in to authorities after a drive-by shooting in Abingdon, according to the Washington County Virginia Sheriff’s Office.

A news release from the sheriff’s office states deputies responded to a home on Drake Road in Abingdon around 1 a.m. on Wednesday after reports of gunfire.

Investigators found a 9mm shell casing near the road and collected it as evidence.
