FDLE agents arrest woman accused of injecting facial fillers with no license

Revealing few details, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement posted pictures of a woman they say was operating without a medical license out of her apartment.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement shared photos of a woman they say was arrested by Jacksonville special agents on Thursday.

In a social media post, FDLE referred to the woman as a “back-alley beautician,” alleging she was importing and injecting people with a “mystery mail-order facial filler.”

FDLE said she was operating out of her apartment without a medical license.

According to the post, the woman is a Ukrainian national in the United States on a work visa.

The investigation was conducted by FDLE, the Florida Department of Health, Homeland Security Investigations Tampa, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The woman’s name has not been released.
