ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Four people from Fort Lauderdale were arrested in Ormond Beach Thursday night in connection to several St. Johns County burglaries, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Around 8:42 p.m., FHP says they received “intel” that a black four-door Volkswagen Jetta with Florida license plate No. 78DRDA was traveling south on Interstate 95 and was wanted in connection to the crimes.
FHP says the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office then located the vehicle at 1622 North U.S. Hwy 1 in Ormond Beach.
With help from detectives from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, FHP says they arrested the four individuals on multiple charges of burglary and theft, as they were then taken into custody at the Volusia County Jail.
