Piers Morgan's furious one-line reply as Kanye West brands him 'offensive'

Kanye West, who has come under fire for a string of sexist, anti-Semitic and generally inflammatory rants on X in recent months, has made it clear he’s unrepentant. In his latest tweet on the platform, he quizzed: “Why are the most offensive people the most easily offended?”

Piers Morgan shot back sarcastically: “Says the guy who walked out on our interview after 3 minutes because I called him ‘Ye West’ (his X account name is still Kanye West) and said he had 32m not 33m followers.” Since that conversation, his follower count has shot up again by another 300,000 followers – but his content is causing increasing concern. Only yesterday (May 9), he posted “all my n***as are Nazis” but went unchallenged, while he previously shouted “Heil Hitler!” on a Twitch live stream, while giving a Nazi salute.

Last year, he appeared on Piers’ Uncensored show to discuss his anti-Semitic behaviour, which has also included posting swastika imagery and saying that he hates the Jewish community.

The interview quickly descended into chaos, with Kanye storming out after five minutes – and then returning, but being dismissive and oppositional towards everything Piers said and refusing to answer his questions.

Today on X, followers revived the ill-fated footage, with one writing: “Credit to you for ‘trying’ to do an interview but after watching it he wasn’t really in the mood for it and was out to sabotage it from the get-go. You getting his name wrong was a bit silly, you could have worked that out better but the follower issue … well just ridiculous.”

A second viewer wrote: “We need to revive the pejorative of ‘Snowflake’ just for Kanye!”

“The problem is that he has any followers at all. The problem is that he is given airtime… it was 3 minutes too much. I am not a fan of cancel culture but if there was ever someone who deserved it, it’s him… He shouldn’t be called by any name,” chimed in a third.

However, one viewer reminded Piers of the infamous occasion when he’d stormed out too, after a row broke out over Meghan Markle and he chose to resign from Good Morning Britain rather than apologise for his beliefs.

Referencing his row with weatherman Alex Beresford over it, he shot back: “Says the guy who walked out over a guy giving you feedback about your petulant vendetta you kept dragging the other hosts into every night.”

Meanwhile, Kanye’s latest eyebrow-raising tweet features a photo of a naked action figure with a disproportionately large penis and the words “Action N***a – coming soon”, implying he might be about to release a new rang

Piers called for Elon Musk to enforce an X ban on Kanye earlier this week, but despite previous suspensions and a warning flashing up to everyone visiting his profile that “it may include potentially sensitive content”, this has not happened as of yet.
