This ain’t Texas or Buckingham Palace, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did make a surprise appearance at Beyoncé’s latest Cowboy Carter Tour stop.

Beyoncé, 43, shared a handful of photos from her Friday, May 9, concert in Los Angeles via her official website. In one pic, Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, cuddled up in a private suite at SoFi Stadium.

Meghan embraced her inner country fan, stunning in an off-the-shoulder denim dress, while Harry opted for a pair of jeans, a dark T-shirt and a green wide-brimmed hat. The pair was all smiles as they wrapped their arms around each other.

The couple are noted Beyoncé fans, last attending one of her L.A. shows on her Renaissance World Tour in September 2023 and following the all-silver dress code perfectly. The year before, Meghan revealed in their Harry & Meghan docuseries that the Grammy winner “just texted” after they filmed a bombshell CBS interview in 2021.

“Shut up. ‘Just checking in.’ Just casual,” Harry jokingly replied.

Meghan subsequently revealed that she couldn’t “believe [Beyoncé] knows who I am,” much less has her personal phone number.

“She said she wants me to feel safe and protected,” the Suits alum read aloud. “She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.”

Meghan first met Beyoncé at the 2019 premiere of Disney’s live-action The Lion King. An eyewitness exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that the Destiny’s Child alum told Meghan it was “good” to meet her in person before they traded parenting tips. (Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z share three Blue Ivy, Sir and Rumi, while the royals are parents to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.)

Meghan and Harry have not further addressed their Friday date night at Beyoncé’s concert, which comes on the heels of renewed family drama.

Harry has been at odds with father King Charles III and brother Prince William since he and Meghan stepped back as senior working royals in 2020. Harry and his dad, 76, slowly started reconciling amid the king’s ongoing cancer battle. Their dynamic strained after Harry lost his lengthy court battle for enhanced security in the U.K. (Harry and Meghan live with their kids, who are 6 and 3 years old, in California.)

“The royal family [doesn’t] trust Harry anymore,” a royal insider exclusively told Us earlier this month. “So the whole institution is concerned that if Charles reaches out any conversations and information would be splashed across the American press.”

The insider added, “Harry did what his mother did and it’s impossible to come back into the fold after that. So, everyone around Charles isn’t keen on him reaching out to Harry. They understand it’s a father-son relationship but the family is so complicated, and issues of the monarchy often supersede personal relationships.”
