BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — Country Thunder, a country music festival that drew large crowds to Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) over the past few years, will not return to Bristol in 2025.

A BMS spokesperson confirmed to News Channel 11 on Monday that Country Thunder would not be held at the speedway in 2025.

The festival previously drew headliners like Cody Johnson, Jason Aldean, HARDY, Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll.

Bristol Motor Speedway issued the following statement to News Channel 11.

“The schedule of events at Bristol Motor Speedway changes each year. Due to a variety of factors, Country Thunder is not a part of the schedule at BMS in 2025. We would be happy to welcome the tour back in the future should the schedule permit. We hope country music fans will take advantage of MLB bringing country legend Tim McGraw to the track to perform before the historic MLB Speedway Classic on August 2. As always, Bristol Motor Speedway remains committed to delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests.”
