One dead, four hospitalized after Piatt Co. crash

DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — A 21-year-old in Decatur was hospitalized after being shot Monday night.

Officers with the Decatur Police Department told WCIA they responded to the area near the intersection of East Prairie Avenue and North 26th Street at 10:30 p.m. After investigating, they found evidence of gunfire in the area.

The person who was shot is in stable condition and suffered non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.
