Dave Portnoy has made a public appearance with his girlfriend Camryn D’Aloia, taking her to courtside seats at the Knicks-Celtics playoff game along with Timothee Chalamet.

Attending the game at TD Garden to watch the Celtics secure a 127-102 victory to stay in the competition, Portnoy had his girlfriend by his side in a rare occurrence.

Despite occasionally being seen together, Portnoy usually keeps his romantic life private and strives to shield D’Aloia, 26, from the public eye.

They were last seen at a Celtics game over a year ago, when they were picked up by TV cameras sitting behind the announcers booth midgame, in an incident Portnoy later referred to as ‘unfortunate’.

D’Aloia also hails from Massachusetts and lives in Boston, working as a community management associate for the hair growth company Nutrafol, according to her LinkedIn page.

The pair’s first appearance together in April of last year came less than six months after Portnoy split from his long-term girlfriend Silvana Mojica.

‘We were dating for three years, and I guess you get to a point where you think maybe there’s a difference in what somebody wants and what the other person wants,’ he said on his podcast in November 2023.

‘Without going into too much detail, I just didn’t think I could give Silvana kind of what she deserves. She’s so beautiful, she’s funny, she’s smart, she’s all these things,’ he added.

Portnoy was previously married to Renee Portnoy from 2009 to 2017.

Speaking about his impromptu appearance with D’Aloia in 2024, Portnoy said: ‘Very unfortunate set of circumstances, I’ll say that.

‘Because… well, I’m sensitive to the fact I’m six months, five-and-a-half months, out of a relationship (at the time), so being seen on a date or with a girl, was not what I was trying to do.

‘I turned down courtside [seats]. I don’t want to be pictured, I don’t want to be on TV, I don’t want any of it.

‘We walk in, sit down, and I know instantly I have a problem. No idea where these tickets were. They are right behind the broadcaster. It was the two worst tickets – and there’s the reaction, like, what the f***.’

Portnoy also recently referenced his love life on the ‘Drop a Pin’ podcast in April, while telling a story about his boat losing power in the Nantucket Harbor last summer.

‘I thought about jumping off (the boat) at one point,’ Portnoy said, before a podcast co-host asked if his mother was also aboard.

‘No. Originally, it was myself and Cam, um, a girl I’m dating. I was like, “You have to get off and tell somebody, I have no communication.” So she, before we got too far, dove off and went home and called the harbor master.’

It was a topsy-turvy night for Portnoy at the Celtics game, with his beloved team winning their do-or-die matchup with the Knicks to force a Game 6.

It was very nearly the perfect night, but in the last seconds of the game the Barstool founder lost a $10,000 bet that would have returned $210,000.

A five-fold bet on the Celtics included the likes of Derrick White getting 20+ points, and Al Horford making two or more three-pointers.

Incredibly, four of the five elements came in, with only ‘Payton Pritchard 18+ points’ falling short. Incredibly, he was taken out of the game with 17 points.

Portnoy, taking to social media, simply wrote: ‘Dagger.’
