Sonja Morgan shared a screenshot of a dinner invite she received, via Instagram DM, on her Story on Tuesday after it was revealed that she had been blacklisted from New York City hotspot Tucci over the weekend.

Following a report claiming the 61-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum had thrown a fit at the restaurant after its staff failed to comp her $1,000 dinner bill, Sonja, who has since alleged that she “felt lost” amid the drama, shared a response she got to a July 2024 Instagram post, which featured her dining at Il Tinello on the Upper East Side.

“Had a wonderful time celebrating the sale of my house with my interns at the classic and iconic Il Tinello … Amazing food & atmosphere,” Sonja had gushed in the nearly year-old post as she sat with several plates filled with Italian food.

Although it is unclear who responded to the image with the dinner invite, it read, “Please, if you’re in the city come by for dinner,” and it seemed to be sent yesterday at 11:04 a.m.

As RHONY fans may have seen, Sonja, who had previously been given free meals at Tucci, was confirmed to have been banned from the restaurant by its owner, Max Tucci.

“She was absolutely hysterical and refused to pay. It was like she was filming a ‘Housewives’ episode, shouting, ‘I’m a celebrity!’” a source explained to Page Six. “She was like, ‘I don’t pay; people pay me [to go to their restaurants].’ She was absolutely entitled and caused a scene about not paying.”

But according to Sonja, the incident was nothing more than a “miscommunication.”

“I believed I was dining in exchange for a promotional post. … I made that known to staff,” she said.

Sonja Morgan was featured in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of New York City from season three until season 13.
