Third suspect in fatal Lumpkin Road shooting arrested, RCSO says

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – A third suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery and fatal shooting at the Smoke Shop on 2303 Lumpkin Road has been arrested, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Terry McClennon, 19, was wanted for the January 10, 2025 incident that resulted in the death 29-year-old Abdallah Abu Rubeha of Augusta.

Deputies responded to the 800 block of Spruce Street and successfully apprehended McClennon without incident, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

He was transported to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center, where he was booked for Malice Murder, three counts of Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a First Offender.

Antwon Herndon and Terrence Walker have already been arrested in connection to the case.
