AUGUSTA, Ga. () — Reverend Robert L. Ramsey has spent nearly five decades in the pulpit, and now, he’s sharing that wisdom in a new book with a title that really hits home—What’s Wrong? I’m Tired. Can You Feel Me?

It’s a message Reverend Ramsey says we all need right now. The book speaks directly to something many of us are feeling—burnout. Whether you’re a pastor, a teacher, or just trying to keep up with everyday life, Ramsey says the message is for you. “It don’t matter what profession we are in or what area of life, there’s a point where we really need some help,” he said.

Ramsey breaks it down in a way that touches every walk of life—especially the family. He shares one example from the book. “I talk about parents getting tired. They make bad choices, bad decision, concerning that children. They quit being responsible because they get tired of discipled and teaching,” Reverend Ramsey recalled.

He says being tired isn’t always bad, but it’s important to recognize the moment before it turns into something more. “Getting tired has positive and negative. Good and tired can be a good thing. It could be a bad thing. You could do some good things. You can make some good choices or bad choices,” he shared.

This is Ramsey’s third book, but it almost didn’t happen. “I procrastinated because it looked like every time I got ready to write something would come up, but then I got to the point after recognizing life and the privacy of life, I better go and get this done,” he added.

He’s got more books on his heart, possibly ten in the work, and says God’s just getting started. “Seemed like the Lord making me out. That’s something that I didn’t plan. But, that’s what He’s doing,” he said.

You can find What’s Wrong? I’m Tired. Can You Feel Me? at 2nd & Charles on Washington Road in Augusta, MariBeth’s Books in Thomson, and online at robertlramseyministries.com. Pastor Ramsey is also on social media and YouTube.
