Much of that is expected from the longstanding franchise. What we didn’t expect to see was Jenelle Evans’ estranged husband’s new girlfriend meeting up with her ex-fiancé’s ex-girlfriend in the same month Evans finally got around to filing for divorce from David Eason. Let’s unpack what is going on here because it is kind of confusing.

Jenelle Evans has finally filed for divorce

In February 2024, Jenelle Evans filed for legal separation from David Eason. The move shocked Teen Mom fans, many of whom assumed she’d never leave David or their sinking home behind. In North Carolina, you can’t file for divorce until after a year of separation has elapsed. That left Evans in a holding pattern, but she moved forward anyway. She moved her kids to Las Vegas, reprised her role on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, launched a relationship, and endured a very public and very messy breakup.

Over the course of the year, it became clear that there wasn’t any love lost between Eason and Evans. It seemed likely that Evans would file for divorce as soon as she possibly could. February 2025 came and went without any filing, though. Evans has finally gotten around to legally ending her marriage.

According to the Ashley Reality Roundup Group, Evans filed for absolute divorce on May 13. She didn’t need to appear in North Carolina to complete the task. Evans’ decision to file likely has something to do with an upcoming event. Earlier this month, she announced she would be hosting a divorce party in June.

Kenleigh Heatwole and Anastasia Biddle have linked up in Las Vegas

While Jenelle Evans is busy dealing with her divorce and the fallout of her decision to send her son to live with his biological father, two women who dislike her have met up. This weekend, Nathan Griffith’s most recent ex and latest victim, Anastasia Biddle, linked up with Kenleigh Heatwole, David Eason’s new lady friend. The only thing these two women have in common is their unfortunate decision to date Jenelle Evans’ exes and their disdain for the former reality TV star.

While it is unclear what they are doing together, Teen Mom fans have taken to Reddit to map out precisely what is going on. It still isn’t clear why Heatwole is spending time in Vegas. Still, the social media posts about the chill session are likely attempts to get under Evans’ skin, at least partially. While the mother of three hasn’t taken to social media about the situation just yet, we assume it’s only a matter of time.
