Luann de Lesseps recalled the infamous cast trip when she and Ramona Singer brought men back to the house, and their co-stars saw one of them “naked.” The Real Housewives of New York City alum revealed more details behind the story, and she shaded Ramona for another cast trip moment.

In a past season, the cast took a trip to Turks and Caicos. One night, Luann and Ramona brought two men home. The next morning, her co-stars slammed her after seeing one man naked. At this point, Luann uttered her famous line, “Be cool. Don’t be all, like, uncool.”

Speaking with Glamour Magazine, Luann addressed the iconic quote.

“I had no idea it would become such an iconic line,” said the star. “Andy Cohen called me and goes, ‘You have the line of the season.’ I go, like, ‘What?’”

“[I said it] in Turks and Caicos. Ramona and I bring back guys to the house. We have a great time. I kick my guy out at three o’clock in the morning, which nobody knows,” she said. “So the guy upstairs was Ramona’s guy. The guy must have drank too much, and so … Ramona let him sleep upstairs, but it was never my guy … [but] I got all the heat.”

According to Luann, her castmates saw the man “naked” the next morning.

“His butt was up naked, staring them in the face when they went to use the bathroom because these two rooms had a connecting bathroom. So they were not expecting to see a naked man’s butt,” she said. “But if it was me, I’d be taking selfies. I’d have more fun with it. Heather [Thomson was] so upset because there was a naked man in the house. For me, it was just mind-blowing. And second of all, I was just too hungover to care.”

Luann then addressed the quote itself.

“My fans love this line. They have T-shirts that are made,” she said. “It’s one of my most famous lines – more than even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes, or money can’t buy you class. The ‘be cool, don’t be like all uncool’ really stands out.”

As for another cast trip in the Hamptons, Luann recalled how Ramona made her sleep in her house’s basement.

“Once again, I got the sh**tiest room in the house,” she said. “I’m like, why do I always get the worst room? You proclaim you love me, but yet you put me in the lower level. You can call it the lower level, but it’s a basement. I mean, that’s not love. There was, like, cobwebs down there. The TV didn’t work. It smelled musty. I was like, no way. Why would I sleep in your basement when I could sleep in my own bed? [So I] took off in the middle of the night, and I went to sleep in my own comfortable bed.”
