Kevin Jonas Comments On ‘Claim to Fame’ And Whether It Will Be Renewed For A New Season

Claim to Fame debuted on ABC in July 2022. The series focuses on 12 contestants with a secret celebrity link. They must compete in challenges and try to conceal their identities, hoping to be the last one standing and win the $100,000 prize. It’s an entertaining concept, but will the reality TV show return for Season 4?

Fans of the show have been asking this question, but Kevin Jonas (who co-hosts the series with his younger brother, Frankie Jonas) has given an update about the show’s future that will not give fans confidence about a renewal.

According to TV Line, ABC released its summer 2025 programming schedule on April 30. The schedule included renewals of fan favorites Celebrity Family Feud, Press Your Luck, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and Bachelor in Paradise. However, no announcement about Claim to Fame was made, which led fans to fear that it had been canceled.

It was initially believed that the lack of renewal could be because Kevin was busy with his music career (alongside his brothers Nick and Joe Jonas). Still, in an interview with E! News published on May 20, he shared his thoughts on why there has been no renewal announcement. “I think ABC was going in a different direction this time,” Kevin said. “It doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen in the future. I just haven’t been told if it’s going to continue right now.”

Will ‘Claim To Fame’ Be Back For Season 4?

Despite Kevin’s belief that ABC wanted to go in a “different direction,” he confirmed that he was eager to return to his hosting gig. “I am always down for Claim to Fame,” he said. “I love working with Franklin and I love that show. I do miss doing it this season. It was weird. I’ve done it every year for the last four years, so I’m hopeful for more, but we’ll see.”

He also confirmed that his schedule is full. “We’re going on tour in August anyway, so I’m gonna be a little busy,” he told E! News of touring with the Jonas Brothers.

However, E! News reports that ABC has not decided on the show’s fate, so there is still a glimmer of hope that it could be renewed, perhaps later.

The official Instagram account for Claim to Fame has not made any posts since September 2024. The last post was dedicated to Adam Christoferson’s win in Season 3. He is the nephew of Michael Bolton. Previous winners include Loreal Chanel “L.C.” Palmer, sister of Keke Palmer, in Season 1, and Gabriel Cannon, brother of Nick Cannon, in Season 2.
