Duck Dynasty aired for 11 seasons from 2012 until 2017 and was a huge success. The Robertson family was propelled into stardom, and fans became fascinated with their lives. This resulted in several spin-offs and opportunities, including Sadie Robertson joining Dancing With the Stars for Season 19. The family will return to reality TV with Duck Dynasty: The Revival this year.
The revival series will feature 20 episodes (and there could be more to come) and premiere on June 1 at 9 p.m. ET on A&E. The show will focus mainly on Willie Robertson, his wife, Korie Robertson, their children, Sadie, Rebecca, John Luke, Sadie, Bella, and Will. So, who will be back, and what do we know about the new show?
Who Will Be Included In ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival?’
The show will focus on Willie and Korie Robertson’s family and their children’s partners. An A&E press release, per E! News, comments, “Their growing family of adult children and grandchildren, the next generation of Robertsons living on the family homestead in Louisiana.” The statement continues, “With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children, and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy.”
Willie and Korie shared a statement about returning to A&E to film their show and expressed their gratitude to their fans. They revealed they “can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”
Unfortunately, their youngest child, Rowdy, will not be on the show because they are away at college. Willie has also revealed that his father, Phil Robertson, has Alzheimer’s disease, and Us Weekly reports that he will not be included in the reboot.
“Dad’s not doing well at all. It’s definitely progressing,” Willie told Us Weekly on May 20. “And mom has shown the same type of symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementia. It’s just part of life — and mom has her good days.”
Why Are The Robertson Family Returning To Reality TV Now?
It’s been almost ten years since Duck Dynasty‘s final season aired, and the news of Duck Dynasty: The Revival has been met with great excitement.
Willie told Us Weekly on May 20 that he didn’t ever expect to return to reality TV. “I never thought we’d do this again,” he said. “But I realized people wanted to see what we’re doing.” Korie also shared her thoughts on why they were willing to make a comeback. “The timing felt right. It’s been fun bringing people into the next part of our life,” she said.
A promo video for Duck Dynasty: The Revival was shared on Instagram in May 2025, giving fans a glimpse into what to expect. Fans have reacted in the comment section of the post. “WOOHOOOO, IT’S HAPPENING!!!!!” one comment reads.
“Can it be June 1st already?” another person asked.
Other reactions include, “Finally the quality TV show we all need,” “So excited for this! Love you guys!” and “Uncle Si forever & always the main character.”
