PROTESTERS booed a reality TV star as he walked into an investors’ dinner for President Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency venture on Thursday.
Anxious crowds waited outside the president’s golf club in Virginia to see who was invited to the black tie event.
Most of the attendees remain anonymous, but Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom was a rare recognizable face seen walking in.
Despite the outcries from bitter bystanders, Khloe Kardashian’s on-and-off-again lover posted a video of himself walking into the dinner online and said, “I’m fired up.”
He boosted his own meme coin and said it “isn’t just a token, it’s taking the stage at a presidential gala tonight!”
“Have you ever seen a founder be so bold? This is the most authentic soulful experience in crypto history,” he said on X.
Other notable dinner attendees include Nick Pinto, who is a crypto investor and founder of Ogle, and Justin Sun, who has made billions off the meme coins.
Sun is reported to be the top purchaser of $TRUMP, which has netted a massive $312 million from crypto sales and $43 million in total fees, The Washington Post reported.
When asked to reveal the guest list, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted that the dinner was taking place during Trump’s “personal time.”
“It is not a White House dinner, it’s not taking place here at the White House,” she told reporters.
