Kanye West released a recording of a conversation with Sean “Diddy” Combs. He also used snippets of it in a recent song. Combs reportedly had no idea West was recording their conversation. It has placed him at the center of a battle between West and Kim Kardashian.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reportedly didn’t know Kanye West would release a phone call

West has been one of the only vocal supporters of Combs. He recently spoke to him on a phone call, in which Combs shared how his experience behind bars has been.

“Tell you real from the front line. This s*** is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful,” Combs said on the call, per The New York Post. “You can’t do nothing for just … I need you out there, you hear me?”

Combs went on to say that his life in prison is “f***ing sad,” and encouraged West to continue making music.

“When I get out there, man, I want to see you f***ing tear down the stadiums,” he said. “I need to see you back on that stage, f***ing actually rapping and f***ing performing and everything. I be dreaming of that s***.”

Combs reportedly did not know he was being recorded during the conversation. West also used the recording in the opening of his song “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine.”

“Puff didn’t know it was being recorded [on video],” a source told The Post. Combs just “thought he was having a friend call him to check on his kids.”

The source said that the song places Combs in a battle between West and Kardashian.

“Diddy is collateral damage in the debacle over Ye’s new song — the beef is really with Kim.”

Kim Kardashian was reportedly not happy about the song

Shortly before West released “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” Kardashian reportedly sent her ex-husband paperwork trying to block it. Their daughter North West also appears on the song.

“I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song,” the text reads, per TMZ. “To protect her.”

Kardashian trademarked her children’s names. West responded furiously, telling her to fix that.

“Amend it or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout,” he wrote, adding, “You’re going to have to kill me.”

Kanye West has been one of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ only supporters

West has vocally supported Combs since his arrest, making him one of the only people to do so. In a series of since-deleted posts, West called out people who didn’t support Combs and asked Donald Trump to release him from jail.
