The Storm Team 11 forecast calls for a very chilly start to Memorial Day weekend. Temperatures will start in the low 40s for the Tri-Cities with upper 30s across the higher elevations. The afternoon high will warm to around 72 degrees with increasing clouds.

Tonight will feature mostly cloudy skies with a 20% chance of a passing shower late. The low will be 48 degrees.

Sunday, the rain will return with a 60% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms through the late afternoon and evening. The high will be 71 degrees. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue into Sunday night with a low of 56 degrees.

Monday looks drier with a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms for Memorial Day. The high will be 73 degrees. Better rain and thunderstorm chances arrive Monday night with a low of 58 degrees.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into Tuesday with an 80% rain chance. The high will be 70 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue into Tuesday night with a low of 59 degrees.

Wednesday will feature a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms under mostly cloudy skies. The high will be around 78 degrees. Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue Wednesday night with a low of 62 degrees.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a 60% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. The high will be near 77 degrees.

The scattered shower and thunderstorm chances extend into next Friday with a high of 75 degrees. The rain chance will be 50%.
