Dolores Catania has shared another look at her growing blended family.
On Tuesday, May 21, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared on Instagram about celebrating her soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Nicole Perricho’s birthday. Dolores revealed that their family came together at the Jersey Shore for a small gathering to celebrate Nicole turning 30. The attendees included Dolores’ son Frankie Catania, who is Nicole’s fiancé, Dolores’ partner Paul “Paulie” Connell, her ex-husband Frank Catania Sr. and his wife Brittany Mattessich, as well as Dolores’ daughter Gabby Catania.

She expressed her joy in the caption saying, “Still smiling after the most amazing weekend at the shore celebrating our beautiful Nicole’s 30th birthday!” alongside a link to the Reel. She also expressed her gratitude for welcoming Nicole into their family and wished her well for the future.
The celebration at home was detailed in Dolores’ Instagram video, showcasing the pink-themed event with a magnificent balloon arch and beautiful table settings adorned with floral centerpieces, tulle runners, candles, and light pink glassware. The decorations also included lip-shaped cookies to represent Nicole’s work as an aesthetic nurse injector and her business logo was prominently featured under the balloon arch.
“This is 30. Thank you so much to my fiancé [Frankie] for making my birthday so special,” Nicole captioned a May 21 carousel.
Nicole also gave a shoutout to Dolores, Frank Sr., Brittany, and her mom, Rosa Perricho, for “helping set everything up and making the most perfect unforgettable day.”
“Feeling so lucky and blessed,” she concluded the caption.
Dolores Catania recalls son Frankie Catania’s proposal to Nicole Perricho
The party went down just several months after Frankie proposed to Nicole in New York City. Dolores spoke about the big moment in an interview with Us Weekly, saying “it was a lot of fun” to be involved.
“[Nicole] was very surprised,” Dolores recalled. “She got engaged in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and then Frankie had the lady chapel behind the altar, and all her family and friends were there. A lot of thought went into it… It was just beautiful. [Frankie] set the bar pretty high.
“She’s a beautiful girl and I’m very happy for both of them,” she added.
Dolores later revealed that Frankie and Nicole may have two wedding ceremonies: one in Europe and another in the States.
“They want a destination wedding in Portugal,” Dolores said during a March appearance on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. “Yeah, so we’ll do that and then he’ll have to have something here because my family doesn’t leave Paterson, [New Jersey], so not happening. I got them to New York, that was far enough… So, it’s gonna be probably two weddings.”
