Trump said: “It’s a terrible thing but it’s a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean.

“I hope we can do it by tomorrow. Is that okay?”

The TV power couple were found guilty of defrauding banks out of $30million and sentenced in November 2022, before being jailed in January 2023.

They have been appealing their cases ever since they were sentenced.

Julie had been serving seven years in Kentucky, while Todd Chrisley was banged up for 12 in Florida.

On top of their fraud convictions, they were also found guilty of several tax crimes – including attempting to defraud the Internal Revenue Service.

Prosecutors said the two submitted false bank statements and other documents to obtain millions in personal loans from Atlanta area community banks before they became became TV stars.

They were said to have spent the money on luxury cars, designer clothes, real estate and travel.

News of the pardon was revealed by White House aide Margo Martin, who posted a clip of the phone call to X, captioned: “Trump knows best!”

Their daughter Savannah, 27, has campaigned hard for their release and became a prominent Maga figure.

She attended the 2024 Republican National Convention and the 2024 Conservative Political Action Conference – both of which were buzzing with aides.

Savannah can be heard saying: “Thank you so much Mr President,” after Trump tells her his plan.

She then introduces her brother, who says: “Mr President, I just want to say thank you for bringing my parents back.”

Trump replies: “Yeah, well they were given pretty harsh treatment, based on what I’m hearing.”

Savannah previously said her parents have not spoken to each other since they were locked up.

Last week, Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump aired an interview on her Fox News program with Savannah.

Ten seasons aired Chrisley Knows Best, where Todd is portrayed as a real estate tycoon and patriarch of a wealthy family in the Atlanta area.

It ran between 2014 and 2023, when the couple were jailed.

Four seasons of the spin-off show Growing Up Chrisley were broadcast between 2019 and 2022.
