Cassie Ventura, who reportedly checked into an area hospital yesterday, was the first of several witnesses to testify that they feared for their lives around Diddy. Capricorn Clark, Diddy’s longstanding assistant and brand director, is the latest. Suge Knight, who is imprisoned himself, spoke out about Capricorn Clark. The former CEO confirmed that the then-assistant was afraid of Diddy. He claims she confided in him about her concerns.

Suge Knight confirms Capricorn Clark’s testimony

Capricorn Clark took the stand this week to discuss her time working with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Clark testified about Diddy’s intimidation tactics and how fearful she was of the man she worked for for years. During her testimony, she recounted multiple threats levied at her, as well as Diddy’s violent behavior toward Cassie Ventura and his anger at Kid Cudi.

Capricorn Clark’s testimony was shored up for the public when Suge Knight spoke to TMZ from prison about what Clark said. Clark had previously worked for Suge Knight. According to the Death Row Records co-founder, he was aware that Diddy had threatened Clark repeatedly. He confirmed that she feared for her life while working for him.

Suge Knight won’t celebrate a conviction

Suge Knight’s corroboration of Capricorn Clark’s memories seems to be further proof that he and Diddy have never actually ended their feud. Instead, they seemingly allowed it to simmer into something of a cold war. Despite that, he’s conflicted about what should happen to the music mogul. Knight insisted that he won’t celebrate the incarceration of Diddy if he’s found guilty. He expressed concern for the mogul’s children. His feelings might have something to do with his own legal troubles.

Suge Knight is no stranger to the legal system, and he is serving his own very lengthy prison term at the moment. His rap sheet includes assault, probation violations, and parole infractions. In the late 1990s, he served time for a parole violation related to a Las Vegas brawl just before Tupac Shakur’s murder. Over the years, Knight was also linked to allegations of intimidation, violence, and involvement in gang activity, though many of these accusations never led to convictions.

His most recent conviction, for voluntary manslaughter, landed him a 28-year sentence. In 2018, he pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter for the 2015 death of Terry Carter. Knight struck Carter with his truck in a hit-and-run outside a Compton burger stand. The tragedy occurred after a dispute during the filming of Straight Outta Compton.
