The State Department is broadening its review of visa holders at Harvard University. A senior official informed The Post on Thursday that the investigation will go beyond the foreign student population.

The comprehensive review will now include F-1 visas for foreign students, B-1 visas for business-related visitors, and B-2 visas for tourism, as confirmed by the State Department official.

The probe will also focus on possible threats to security or abuses of the visa system.

Initial reports of the wider review were made by Fox News following Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s announcement of visa revocations for foreign officials or individuals involved in censoring Americans, as well as some Chinese students.

Foreign students hoping to enroll in the Ivy League institution already had their visa status threatened by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem — before the courts stepped in.

The Post reached out to Harvard University reps for comment.
