The official countdown to summer aligns perfectly with what’s expected to be a blockbuster season at the box office. Disney and Pixar just released the new trailer for Elio, and fans are already eager to grab their movie tickets for this highly anticipated animated adventure.

Elio, a space fanatic with an active imagination and a huge alien obsession. For centuries, people have called out to the universe looking for answers—in Disney and Pixar’s all-new feature film Elio, the universe calls back! When Elio is beamed up to the Communiverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from galaxies far and wide, Elio’s all in for the epic undertaking. Mistakenly identified as Earth’s leader, Elio must form new bonds with eccentric alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions, and somehow discover who and where he is truly meant to be.

Starring in this already presumed to be box office hit are Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, Remy Edgerly as Glordon, Brad Garrett as Lord Grigon, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa and Shirley Henderson as Ooooo.

Elio is set to hit the big screen on June 20th.

Just in time for the holidays, Zootopia 2 will land in theaters, taking fans on the adventures of the Zootopia P.D. According to Deadline, below is a brief synopsis of what fans of the 2016 box office hit can expect. 

Zootopia 2 reunites Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), the rookie cops from the Zootopia P.D., as they find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake (Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, they must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.

Get ready for a blockbuster year at the movies. Disney and Pixar are set to dominate 2025 with an exciting lineup of highly anticipated films.
