It’s been quite the year for Paramount+. The first season of Taylor Sheridan’s smash hit Landman aired in January (a second season of the Billy Bob Thornton-led favorite is on the way), the final season of 1923 concluded in April, and Ronan Bennett’s MobLand had the biggest global series premiere in Paramount+ history.

And that’s just the first half of 2025!

MobLand, which stars Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren, has entertained both audiences and critics alike, with the show earning matching 74% scores on Rotten Tomatoes. There’s no official renewal information, but all signs are pointing towards a second season. The series not only had the biggest global series premiere in Paramount+ history, but Tom Hardy told The Hollywood Reporter that the plan is to “definitely see more seasons.”
