JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is fighting for his life Sunday after he was shot by a man he was playing video games with late Saturday night in a Northside home, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigators said.

Police said they were called to the 11000 block of Key Haven Boulevard around 11 p.m. Saturday to a person shot.

Officers found a man in his late 30s suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

JSO investigators said their initial investigation found he was playing video games with another man when the two began to argue. That’s when one of the men pulled out a handgun, police said.

The suspect was detained on the scene, police said.

The shooting is still under investigation, anyone with information should call JSO at 904-630-0500, or call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 866-845-TIPS.
